The 34 Ways to Assist Foundation and Molina Healthcare hosted the 6th annual Devin Harris and Molina Healthcare Basketball Camp August 8-11th at North Division High School for 300 inner-city youth in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
During the camp day, Devin and the children rotated among stations to improve their fundamental basketball skills, visited classrooms for vision checkups, plus received tips on how to handle tough life situations in the camp favorite “barber shop” segments.
Each child received a daily hot meal for lunch, a camp jersey, a team picture, a Devin Harris autograph, and a goodie bag for their participation.
Devin Harris, the 34 Ways to Assist Foundation, and Molina Healthcare would like to give a special thank you to the following loyal sponsors who helped make the 6th annual Devin Harris and Molina Healthcare Basketball Camp a huge success: adidas, Clear Channel Radio, Culvers, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Marriott Courtyard, Milwaukee Recreation, Orange Shoe Personal Fitness, Palermos, Pepsi, Signs by Design, Taco Bell, and Woodmans Food Market.
About the Camp: Started in 2006 as a way for Devin to provide guidance and hope to youth, The Devin Harris Basketball Camp is a free camp for children ages 8-15, and offers a safe environment for children to learn, have fun, and just be kids with their fellow peers. The four-day camp focuses on the fundamentals of basketball as well as education and important life lessons.
